Many people learn by discussing challenges and exchanging ideas with peers willing to share their experiences. While social media offers networking online, in my opinion, conferences and exhibitions offer the best opportunities. Nothing beats meeting someone in person - a hand shake on the show floor, chatting over coffee during a seminar break, or relaxing with a drink at the bar.
Conferences and exhibitions know the importance of networking to their attendees. That is why they build welcome receptions, meals, and other gatherings such as leisure activities into conference programs. These situations create an environment for attendees to mingle, cultivate new contacts and learn from one another.
Event marketers often get ideas from other exhibitors when they exhibit in, or attend, a trade show. So we put together an album of case studies about some of our clients. This collection represents different industries, strategies, space sizes, and design solutions. Event marketers can gain insights from peer experiences that may serve their own trade show marketing programs.
