When you purchase an 8’ or larger Nomadic Display, you’ll receive LeadWare lead management software, a five-hundred-dollar value—at NO CHARGE. Nomadic Display and Capture Technologies, a best in class software developer to the trade show and event industry, have joined together to bring this offer exclusively to Nomadic exhibitors.
LeadWare users represent many of the most recognized companies in the world including Hewlett Packard, Canon, Xerox and Microsoft. LeadWare is a suite of software solutions and its Marketing Edition is the desktop list management application.
LeadWare Marketing Edition is a lead management tool that enables event marketers to import leads from multiple events and different types of scanning devices to create a single, unified database. This database can then be used to create target lists for specific campaigns, launch pre-event promotion emails, deliver post-event fulfillment, and generate reports to management. The contact list may reside in LeadWare or be exported into another database or CRM program.

Putting Dannon’s healthy brand in a better light
There’s no better way to communicate Dannon’s light and fit brand than with a lightweight and portable modular display from Nomadic. This is what The Dannon Company realized when they participated at the 2007 National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago last May.To prepare for the largest foodservice event in North America, Dannon worked with New York-based Creative Display Solutions to promote the company’s bestselling yogurt products.
Since they don’t want to deviate from the customized presentation they’re used to, Dannon opted for a design that can deliver the “custom look” they’re aiming for without the “custom exhibit costs.” They chose a 10’ x 30’ DesignLine display that features high-impact tension fabric graphics, distinctive product shelves, laminate fins and bi-level countertops. The Dannon display can be reconfigured into two smaller units—a 10’x10’ and 10’x20.’
Dannon was very pleased with their new DesignLine. “ We love our DesignLine unit. It’s really lightweight and easy to ship. It’s definitely more cost-effective than a custom display, “ says Denise Gabettie, Dannon’s Sales Operations Associate.
The exhibit has also been featured at two other shows this year-- the National Association of College & University Food Services’ 49th Conference (July 11-14) in Seattle and the 2007 Annual SUBWAY® Convention (August 2-4) at the Walt Disney World in Orlando.

The rise of the Internet has resulted in gains for tradeshows
According to a recent report by the American Business Media, in 2006 tradeshows generated $400 million more in revenue, which surpassed b-to-b print media and grew an additional 10% over 2005.
Margaret Penderson, president of Penton Exhibitions (which produces more than 90 events annually for more than 30 business sectors), attributes these figures to the continuing growth of the Internet. “As people spend more time face-to-face with a computer, real face-to-face becomes more important,” says Penderson.
Many professionals in the b-to-b print media industry, including Philip Chapnick, senior VP for CMP Technology’s Innovator Group, share Penderson’s view. According to Chapnick, the Internet not only encourages people to get together in person, but also keeps them connected even after the trade show is over. “ The Web extends the tradeshow experience and keeps the community together for the whole year, rather than dispersing after three days,” adds Chapnick.
Industry forecasts show that tradeshow spending will continue to surpass print media in the coming years.
Adapted from Matthew Schwartz’s article “Media firms’ trade show revenue tops print for first time” published in the May 7, 2007 issue of BtoB Magazine. |
