Make your display graphics work
Two seconds. That’s the time you have to grab an attendee’s attention in a maze of tradeshow displays.
Such a narrow window of opportunity means your display graphics have to work hard for you. To communicate effectively in just a couple of seconds, use high-impact visual elements and limited copy. Try to keep your copy panels to four to six bullet points with about four to six words per point.
For the visual imagery that supports your display message, use photorealistic artwork rather than illustrations. They are more believable, more memorable, and more focused.
For in-depth information on how to evaluate your graphic design proposals, download our new white paper, All Eyes on You—Graphics That Work. |

Creating “that Starbucks feeling” at tradeshows
According to the recent issue of Meetings and Conventions magazine, show management companies are providing networking niches at exhibition facilities with food and beverage options and comfortable furniture.
Described as having “that Starbucks feeling” by David Weil, senior director of tradeshow services for Chicago-based SmithBucklin, such venues generate additional value and sales for exhibitors by encouraging them to have one-on-one meetings with prospects and conduct business away from the bustle of the trade show.
So the next time you exhibit, check with the show management if they are offering similar exhibitor perks at the event and try to take advantage of them. |
