Industry Trends - Let’s Face the Facts

With the boom of Internet and email marketing, many surmised that the personal touch of Face-to-Face marketing would become a thing of the past. On the contrary, people still prefer Face-to-Face interaction in the purchasing process. In fact, a recent study by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) concluded that 76% of attendees rate face-to-face interaction with potential vendors or suppliers as very/extremely important. That’s good news, since there are over 75 million trade show attendees to face in the near future. There’s no better time than now to join the 1.5 million companies already exhibiting! And we can help you make the best presentation possible.

Tradeshow Tip - 4 Tactics to Improve Personnel Performance

Once you gain their attention long enough for visitors to stop at your exhibit, it's up to your booth staff to engage and qualify them. Even with clever pre-show marketing, the best location, the most unique exhibit and fantastic show giveaways, your ROI will be seriously jeopardized if you have "Poor Personnel Performance". It's imperative that your booth personnel are fully briefed not only on your products and services but your overall plan from pre-show marketing activities through on-site strategy. A recent study states that 94% of show attendees look for knowledgeable staff. To ensure your personnel are fully prepared for an upcoming show, consider these tips:

1)
Produce a booth handbook that expresses the objectives, strategies and tactics you'll employ for the event.
2) Conduct product training as necessary to ensure all personnel are up to date.
3) Consider hiring professionals to provide booth training to your staff –

Case Study - Disney sees substantial increase in show leads

Disney
chose a Nomadic DesignLine kit for an exhibit they wanted to present their theatrical productions. The result was a stunning presentation featuring bold graphics, stretch fabric panels set on an arc to create a small conference area, and theatrical lighting positioned upon a raised floor. Accessorized with a plasma monitor and director’s chairs, the design became uniquely Disney. As a finishing touch, Nomadic devised an optional curvilinear header that may be mounted on 2-foot pole extensions when shows allow a 10’ height. In addition, the Instand backwall can be used as a stand-alone display in a standard 10’ booth space.
