Design Supervisor

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Design Department which includes tracking productivity, monitoring expenses, training design staff and ensuring the overall efficiency in the department.

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise Designers, Production Artists, and temporaries.
• Make recommendations to the Executive Director for additional upgrades (software/hardware) and design tools needed in the design department.
• Utilize Design Tracking Log to monitor productivity, designer conversion rates, art time expenses, and overall departmental efficiency.
• Participate in rendering meetings and assign new renderings accordingly.
• Attend client meetings with Display Consultants as needed.
• Maintain all design supplies and monitor expenses in the design department.
• Maintain a daily schedule for each designer to monitor productivity.
• Act as main contact for external NDC clients in need of assistance and design guidance.
• Work with the Executive Director to create sales tools.
• Act as a constant design resource for all NDC personnel and assist the Executive Director with special projects as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Art or equivalent.

Minimum of 4 years of Design experience.

• Ability to motivate and provide constant guidance to design personnel.
• Extensive working knowledge of MAC graphics programs (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Aldus Freehand, PageMaker, and Stratavision 3-D, and Quark X-Press).
• Ability to creatively generate artistic representations for the appropriate medium.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal staff.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and organize a multitude of unrelated task.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to work overtime with short notice.
• Ability to plan and schedule resources to effectively meet deadlines.

Production Manager - Graphics Department

To assist in the finishing process of graphic panels to the highest possible standards, efficiently and as scheduled.

• Where necessary ensuring that panels have magnetic tape and stiffeners.
• Laminate, cut and laminate large square panels.
• After finishing, ensure that graphics are checked.
• To ensure that once checked, all panels are sleeved and made clearly available for packaging.
• Help ensure quality control on all graphics.
• Consult with the warehouse to notify that jobs are complete.
• To ensure that the Finishing Department is kept clean and tidy at all times. All rubbish should be emptied on a daily basis in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• When required, help with stock and deliveries.

High School Diploma.

Experience working in a graphics environment a plus.

• Keen to learn.
• Good with hands (manual work).
• Must be able to read and tape measure and multiply and divide fractions.
• Practical.

Nomadic's Sales Representative must be strategic in order to deliver profitable growth. This includes, product upgrades, new product introductions, and effective use of internal and external distribution sales support resources to build customer partnerships.

Your responsibilities will also include, identifying and analyzing market potential, developing referral sources and expanding our market share. Talents required: the ability to develop leads and prospects list for new business; conduct display-merchandising presentations to proposed clients; identify and interpret client's requirements and products specification to solve client needs.
