Key Role

Coordinating Solutions orders with the distributor as well as the manufacturing and graphic department to insure customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Discovery Meetings with distributor rep and appropriate internal personnel and send confirmation of results.
  • Provide details (sizes, key dates, 3rd party requirements) of project to Graphics and Mfg.
  • Prepare order for manufacturing by preparing cut sheets.
  • Update production schedule and attend morning mfg meetings.
  • Prepare DXF’s for mfg based on design parameters.
  • Handle multiple projects as assigned by Senior Project Manager.
  • Develop and detail manufacturing specifications for fabrication of all Nomadic products.
  • Develop and maintain a library of assembly drawings to maximize efficiency of production.
  • Prepare and review clear and concise set up instruction manuals prior to shipment.
  • Communicate in a timely manner with Distributor and appropriate internal personnel any challenges which could effect customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the Exhibit Designers.
  • Do whatever it takes to provide outstanding projects to our customers!

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience.


Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Mac or PC based computer systems including VectorWorks (MiniCAD),
    AutoCAD (familiarity with CAD/CAM software a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills with distributor contacts and internal personnel.
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques / processes / equipment.
  • Ability to understand and illustrate complex 3-dimensional objects and processes.
  • Ability to quickly analyze problems and to formulate and carry out practical solutions.
  • Prior experience designing and detailing custom or portable/modular trade show exhibits desired.

Key Role

Manages the daily operations of the Customer Service Department to ensure that a consistent, accurate, and high level of service is being provided to our customers (internal as well as external). Ensures that customer order placement, customer inquiries and service processes are accomplished in an efficient, timely and error-free manner that directly results in customer satisfaction and retention. Functions as a resource/liaison not only for direct employees to upper management, but to other internal departments as well.
Progressive, Proactive Service Development as a Leader Required – to consistently and constantly look for and develop implicit and explicit ways to improve service/processes provided to our customers... not just be satisfied with the status quo. Customers are defined both as internal (other ND departments) and external (dists, EUs, trade). This is to include processes and methods that may not exist today, but require a champion internally to help forge the way for expanding our offerings that are in-line with Nomadic’s business strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and supervision to customer service representatives. Duties include, but are not limited to:
            Recruit and select qualified persons for available positions
            Establishes performance standards and evaluates on an on-going basis
            Ensures thorough product and telephony training for both reps and self
            Provide employees with guidance as necessary, especially in conflict resolution
            Motivate employees to produce desired results necessary for customer retention
  • Holds staff meetings and attends other meetings as required.
  • Ensures that both end user and distributor needs are met for:
            Up-to-date product information
            Technical assistance
            Order placement
            Repairs
            Customized product inquiries
            Lead direction
  • Coordinates and disseminates customer orders with other departments.
  • Makes frequent contact with customers, internal staff and department managers.
  • Prepares monthly activity reports for analysis to spearhead:
            New service initiatives
            Diagnostics to upgrade offerings

    High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)


    Experience

    Typically, a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, i.e., worked performed in a variety of different areas related to processing customer orders, working with customer relation management and accounting software, maintaining stock control, providing customer information, controlling order status, etc. Managerial or supervisory experience desired.


    Associated Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    • Broad knowledge of the manufacturing process, specifically to the flow and steps within the manufacturing process from design to manufacture to shipment.
    • Extensive knowledge of all active products and product lines, as well as their general customer application and use.
    • Thoroughly familiar with the processing of orders and associated reports.
    • Good knowledge of the resources (both human and material) available when resolving problems.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills to convey information, negotiate solutions, etc.
    • Diplomacy and tact skills necessary - may be called upon to deliver adverse information to customers and internal management.
    • Solid written communication skills sufficient to prepare working documents, procedures and reports.
    • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
    • Desire to solve problems and/or make appropriate recommendations for problem solutions.

Key Role

This key position is responsible for providing high quality large format digital color prints, efficiently and as scheduled.


Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing digital files received from Design for printing using RIP software. Quality control Pantone color references, scans, illustrations and logos.
  • Consulting with the Graphic Tech / Preflight Artist for production and approval of print test and final print quality.
  • Complete allocated work as scheduled advising on RIP times for larger files and limits to the print process.
  • Responsible for finishing of graphics to include: laminating, trimming, application of finishing hardware, etc.
  • Maintaining printers in a clean, reliable condition assessing ink and paper batch quality.
  • Also, keeping the correct environment and ensure that the work area is presentable for client visits.
  • Maintaining required paperwork and ensure daily back-up routine of work files are carried out.
  • Advising the Print Team Leader / Head of Design & Graphics of equipment or software failures.
  • Ability to work paid overtime as and when required.
Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience with Ink Jet printers.
  • Dye Sublimation Printing/Fixing.
  • Flatbed UV Direct Printing.
  • ONYX 10.
  • Competent working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of print processes and color management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and attention to detail are required skills.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.
